The Studio

Sophie Douala (she/they) is a visual artist and creative director exploring design through the lens of culture, identity, evolution and emotion.

Established within the cultural sector, we have collaborated with institutions, brands, collectives, magazines, and labels on a wide variety of projects including brand identities, art directions, illustrations, books and publications, album covers, spatial design and installations.

Oscillating between commissioned work and personal creative practice, we navigate the between design and art, drawing inspiration from our generation, its struggles and aspirations for a brighter future.
